If you or your company is risk averse, this is the contract that will provide the least risk and will not be subject to market fluctuations.
A fixed firm contract will lock in your price per kilowatt hour (kWh) provided that the variance between the projected usage and the actual usage falls within the conditions in the contract.
Line loss and some congestion charges are usually locked in with this type of contract.
Delivery charges and some ancillary charges and taxes are subject to regulation by the individual states and may vary.
